The Massachusetts Health Data Consortium is dedicated to active and effective collaboration among members of the Commonwealth’s health care community in their use of health information and technology to achieve sustainable improvements in health quality, cost and effectiveness.

MHDC programs, health data analytics, forums, work groups, webinars and presentations address the myriad innovations in technology, data and analytics, healthcare delivery, finance and public policy that will advance the value of health care in the Commonwealth for years to come.

MeHI, the Massachusetts eHealth Institute at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative , is the designated state agency for promoting Health IT innovation, technology and competitiveness to improve the safety, quality and efficiency of health care across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Institute assists healthcare providers and organizations throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the adoption and effective use of Health IT and other electronic Health (eHealth) technologies. The Institute was also designated by the Baker-Polito Administration as the lead agency for the Massachusetts Digital Health Initiative , an effort which brings together the Commonwealth’s public, private, academic, and healthcare leaders to build a stronger and more connected statewide digital health ecosystem ( .
The New England Healthcare Exchange Network (NEHEN) is a consortium of regional payers and providers that has designed and implemented a secure and innovative health information exchange with the intent of reducing administrative costs and improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient care. Since 1998, the NEHEN technology has changed the way healthcare is delivered and reimbursed in over 40 member organizations which consist of over 55 hospitals, 8 health insurance plans, and tens of thousands of practitioners.
