Accrediting organizations

To receive Continuing Education Credits for approved educational sessions at the conference, the following criteria must be met:

  • Conference registration fees must be paid in full.
  • Attendees must be scanned in and out of each session by the room monitor (i.e. no leaving before the session is over).
  • Attendees must complete an online evaluation form for the session either during the conference (you will now be able to fill in your session evaluation immediately after your session) or within 45 days after the close of the conference.
  • Failure to complete session evaluation forms for each attended session may result in forfeiture of credit for the entire conference.
  • Attendees must attend the full session to receive CE credit.

State Boards:
Please check with your state licensing board to ensure that nationally approved courses can be used to satisfy your continuing education needs. In most cases state licensing boards allow courses for re-certification if they are nationally approved.

AMA, The American Medical Association, Category 2 CME Credit, Self Claiming
Category 2 activities are self-designated by those applying for the PRA. In order to determine the number of Category 2 credits to be declared, physicians should record the actual number of hours spent in the learning activity. Category 2 credits do not need to be documented or verified by an external party. It is recommended that physicians maintain on-going records of these activities in preparation for submission of information for the Physician's Recognition Award Self-claiming only.
Credit may be claimed for Physicians.

The Addiction Professional Academy continuing education co-sponsor, CE Learning Systems, LLC, is approved by American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

The California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP)
CCAPP is the largest statewide consortium of community-based for profit and nonprofit substance use disorder treatment agencies, and addiction focused professionals, providing services to over 100,000 California residents annually in residential, outpatient, and private practice settings.
 
CAARR and CAADAC have become The California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP).
 
The California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) - This program has been approved, provider number is OS-11-154-0817 through 9/30/2017.
 
Credit may be claimed for all drug counselors, CCS- Certified Clinical Supervisor and CCPS -Certified Clinical Supervisor.
California Board of Behavioral Sciences (CA BBS) – Individuals belonging to the California Board of Behavioral Sciences may earn continuing education credits for attending this event. This event will be accepted by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences based on APA and ASWB approvals for the summit.  If the event is cosponsored or individually approved through these other organizations  below the statement above applies.

The Addiction Professional Summit (AP Summit) is approved by IC&RC.  Please check with your state/jurisdictional IC&RC member credentialing/licensing board to ensure use of the AP Summit credits toward initial certification or recertification. The AP Summit is approved by IC&RC in CA by California Certification Board.

CE Learning Systems and Vendome Group are co-sponsors of this program. The co-sponsorship has been approved by NBCC. CE Learning Systems is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5951. The ACEP solely is responsible for this program, including the awarding of NBCC credit.
