About the Summit

Addiction is a chronic, relapsing disease, but too often is treated as an episodic problem with little attention to giving patients the tools they need for lifelong recovery. Treatment programs enhance their patients' chances for success — and their own reputation as outcome-driven organizations — when they embrace a longer-term, recovery-oriented approach.

This intimate event will provide clinicians and managers with important guidance to assist their organizations in making the transition to a recovery focus. Attendees will hear from leaders in outpatient treatment, the recovery residence/sober living community, and recovery coaching and other forms of support, learning strategies on how to build community alliances that establish their organizations as key components of a recovery-oriented system of care.
