The Summit for Clinical Excellence Conference is the premier provider of continuing education for behavioral health, mental health and addiction professionals. We bring together the best and brightest speakers from many disciplines. All Mental, Behavioral Health and Addiction Continuing Education workshops, offered through Summit for Clinical Excellence are intended for Therapists and Counselors, which include but is not limited to: PhD, LCSW, SW, LPC, MFT, Drug and Alcohol Counselors, and allied professionals in the fields of behavioral health, mental health and addictions.
 
Conference Objectives:
1. To identify current evidence-based, specific diagnostic and treatment approaches, counseling skills and modalities that will be successfully applied to the fields of mental health, behavioral health and addictive disorders; including but not limited to:  Opiates, Ethics, Pain Management, Chronic Pain, Trauma, PTSD, Evidence-based methods and Measurement-Based Care,
2. To identify the symptoms and characteristics of the disorders mentioned in objective #1 and how they have interfered with the clients’ interpersonal and family relationships.
3. To participate in skill-building workshops and unique training that offer cognitive and
experiential clinical techniques to assist in patient/client recovery from these listed disorders.
 
National:
We provide CE Hours, not CE Units (CEU's).
A CE Hours is based on 60 minutes of educational instruction,
whereas a CE Unit (CEU) is based on a collection of CE Hours.

AMA, The American Medical Association, Category 2 CME Credit, Self Claiming
This program has not been submitted for CME but can be considered  for Category  2 self claiming
Category 2 activities are self-designated by those applying for the PRA. In order to determine the number of Category 2 credits to be declared, physicians should record the actual number of hours spent in the learning activity. Category 2 credits do not need to be documented or verified by an external party. It is recommended that physicians maintain on-going records of these activities in preparation for submission of information for the Physician's Recognition Award

American Psychological Association
The Addiction Professional Summit continuing education co-sponsor, CE Learning Systems, LLC, is approved by American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
Credit may be claimed for psychologists.
Addiction Professional Summit’s continuing education co-sponsor, CE Learning Systems, LLC, dba CE-credit.com, has been approved to offer continuing education credit for Certified Addiction Specialists (CAS) in accordance with the American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders. AHCPAD  provider number is: 18-1460.
Credit may be claimed for all Certified Addiction Specialists (CAS).
ASWB
CE Learning Systems LLC, (Provider #1020), is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB) through the Approved Continuing Education ACE program. CE Learning Systems, LLC, maintains responsibility for the program. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval.

CA - BBS, California Board of Behavioral Sciences
CA BBS does not offer provider status anymore.
Any professional belonging to the CA BBS make take a course that is approved by a national approval agency (APA, ASWB) and still receive credit for it.

CCAPP is an  approved provider.

Vendome Group, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6791.  Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Vendome Group, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Credit may be claimed for counselors.
 
NAADAC - The Association for the Addiction Professionals 
This course has been approved by Vendome Group, LLC, as a NAADAC Approved Education Provider, for educational credits. NAADAC Provider # 99312, Vendome Group LLC is responsible for all aspects of their programming.
Credit may be claimed for counselors, educators and other addiction-focused health care professionals.
 
STATE ORGANIZATIONS
 
NY – Social Workers
Vendome Group's Co-Sponsor, CE Learning Systems SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0060. 
 
Ohio CSWMFT Board
Social Workers licensed by the Ohio board can earn credit based on the Association of Social Work Boards approval.
 
Request for Post Program approval must be submitted prior to renewing your license for out of state face to face training's, non-approved programs taken online or through home-study , authored publications, college course work, teaching or presentations, distance learning training's and webinars that have not been approved by the board.  This applies to both Counselors and MFT's. Social Worker credit is accepted based on ASWB approval.

Pennsylvania Certification Board
This program is approved for 15.50 Hours..
PCB implements standards and testing for certification of addiction counselors, prevention specialists, clinical supervisors, criminal justice addictions professionals, co-occurring disorders professionals, auxiliary professionals, recovery specialists and intervention professionals.

NASW
Most state boards accept both NASW and ASWB for Social Work approval. For Social Workers attending the event, please refer to your state licensing requirements for renewal.
 

Nursing Credentialing

While we have not submitted directly to (ANCC),American Nurses Association any educational content that is available through an ANCC sponsored organization, agency or education institution can be used to meet renewal requirements.
