Paul Auchterlonie, BS, EdM
Paul Auchterlonie has over 25 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare and propriety education industries. From his summer job in college working with adolescents in foster care and residential treatment, to managing corporate turnarounds as the CEO of multi-million-dollar behavioral healthcare companies, Auchterlonie has always tried to help individuals and organizations reach their potential. His expertise includes organizational turnaround, leadership, strategy, marketing and program development. He has worked for Harvard University, The Brown Schools, Aspen Education Group and other leaders in the field. In addition to appreciating the challenges of organizational change, Auchterlonie enjoys helping individuals launch new, healthy and engaged lives.
Jane Bluestein, PhD

Osvaldo Cabral, MA
Osvaldo Cabral, MA, LPC, LAC has worked as a primary therapist and in Executive Leadership since 2002. He has worked in various treatment settings to include residential, intensive outpatient, DUI/substance abuse programs, domestic violence, sex offender clinics, community mental health centers and the chronically mentally ill. Areas of expertise include Aggression Replacement Training, CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapies and working with co-occurring disorders. He has worked with a variety of clients and age groups, including the Spanish-speaking population.
Margaret Geraci, RDN, LDN
As Director of Nutrition Services at Timberline Knolls, Maggie oversees dietitians and diet technicians, carries a caseload of adolescent girls, supervises the menu and meal planning stages, and develops nutrition-related protocols. She also implements current nutrition recommendations, conducts community outreach and trains dietitians. Maggie is passionate about encouraging residents to find their meaningful lives and identity outside of their eating disorders and addictions. Since food is an essential element of our lives, she enjoys helping to make that a positive experience. Prior to joining Timberline Knolls, Maggie was the Nutrition Manager at Revolution in Chicago. She started with Timberline as a registered dietitian and diet technician. Maggie attended Eastern Illinois University for her undergraduate degree in dietetics and nutrition; she completed her dietetic internship at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; Behavioral Health DPG; and South Suburban Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Dan Griffin, MA
Dan Griffin, MA, Senior Fellow of The Meadows, has dedicated his work and life to exploring and redefining what it means to be a man in the 21st century. Dan is dedicated to helping men be better men by understanding the impact of the Man Rules on their lives and finding the success in their personal lives they are striving for in the professional lives. Griffin’s newest book, "A Man’s Way through Relationships," is the first book written specifically to help men create healthy relationships while navigating the challenges of the “Man Rules™,” those ideas men internalize at very young ages about how to be real boys and men. Griffin has worked in the mental health and addictions field for more than 20 years. He is the author of "A Man’s Way through the Twelve Steps," the first trauma-informed book to take a holistic look at men’s sobriety. He also co-authored "Helping Men Recover," the first comprehensive gender-responsive and trauma-informed curriculum for addiction and mental health professionals. He earned a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Kansas, where his graduate work was the first qualitative study centered on the social construction of masculinity in the culture of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Danielle Matthew, LMFT
Danielle Matthew, LMFT, specializes in treatment for bully victims. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Danielle has helped children and adolescents in day treatment programs, residential facilities, and outpatient services. Danielle presents on the bullying epidemic at schools and organizations including Fusion Academy, Center for Discovery, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Pepperdine University, Cigna, and the Southwestern School of Behavioral Health Studies Conference. She has also spoken on numerous podcasts and a live TV broadcast for Kids in the House, sharing her 3 E’s: Empathy, Empowerment, and Engagement, helping parents talk with and support their children to heal from bullying.
Dr. Stephen Odom, CEO/Chief Clinical Officer- New Vista Behavioral Health
Stephen Odom is a distinguished healthcare and addiction treatment professional with more than 25 years of expertise in the field. Currently, he serves as the President, CEO and Chief Clinical Officer of New Vista Behavioral Health, the parent company of Simple Recovery, Infinity Treatment Centers, and Avalon by the Sea. Within the vast scope of his professional career, Stephen is a pioneer in the addiction treatment industry, and remains grounded by the guiding principle that people can, and do recover. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior from Covenant College (Lookout Mtn. GA), a Master’s in Experimental Psychology (Univ. of Tennessee), a Master’s and Doctoral Candidacy in Clinical Psychology (Palo Alto University), and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) with a focus in Healthcare Administration (Capella University). He is also an LMFT in the state of California. Bari K. Platter, MS, RN, PMHCNS-BC
Bari K Platter, MS, RN, PMHCNS-BC is a Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist with over thirty years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings.  Bari is a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) trainer and a certified Crucial Conversations trainer.  Additional areas of expertise include Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Communication, Cultural Competency and Case Management. She is a nationally recognized speaker/ trainer and is published in the areas of addiction, cultural competency and mental health nursing. Ms. Platter received the Florence Nightingale Award in 2016 and has been nominated for the ANCC Magnet Nurse of the Year for 2017.
Justin Luke Riley, CEO
Justin Luke Riley serves as CEO of Young People in Recovery (YPR). Riley is 29 years-old and has been in long-term recovery from a substance use disorder since 2007. He graduated cum laude from the Honors & Leadership Program at the University of Colorado at Denver in 2013 and recently completed his Executive MBA at the University Colorado. He is a former organizational development consultant and a youth and community engagement pastor in Denver; former secretary of the board of Faces & Voices of Recovery in Washington, D.C.; and past president of the board of Advocates for Recovery in Denver. He is also a White House Champion of Change award recipient. Most recently, Riley was featured as one of the four Social Entrepreneurs Advancing The Nationwide Recovery Movement in Forbes
 
Dave Verhaagen, PhD, ABPP
Dave Verhaagen is the author or co-author of eight books, including Therapy with Young Men, Assessing and Managing Violence Risk in Juveniles, Sexually Aggressive Youth, and Parenting the Millennial Generation, as well as several book chapters. As a licensed psychologist who earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he has served as clinical director for three mental health agencies and is the founder and former CEO of Southeast Psych, a large psychology practice in Charlotte, Nashville, and New Zealand. He is one of fewer than 5% of psychologists in the U.S. to be certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and he is a Fellow of both The American Board of Clinical Psychology and The American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology.  His work has been featured several times in USA Today, Newsweek, and dozens of newspapers around the country.  He is a co-founder of Quarter Life, a program designed to help young adult men thrive, and he works almost exclusively with young adults in his clinical practice.  He is a popular speaker at local, state, and national conferences, having given more than 400 professional presentations.

Reid Wilson, PhD
Reid Wilson, PhD is a licensed psychologist who directs the Anxiety Disorders Treatment Center. He is also Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is an international expert in the treatment of anxiety disorders, with books translated into nine languages.  He is author of the just-released (May 2016) Stopping the Noise in Your Head: The New Way to Overcome Anxiety and Worry and the classic self-help book Don't Panic: Taking Control of Anxiety Attacks as well as Facing Panic: Self-Help for People with Panic Attacks. He is co-author of Anxious Kids, Anxious Parents: 7 Ways to Stop the Worry Cycle and Raise Courageous & Independent Children as well as Playing with Anxiety: Casey’s Guide for Teens and Kids and Stop Obsessing! How to Overcome Your Obsessions and Compulsions.
