Russell Rainey, MS, LPC
Administrative Director of Addiction Services at Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services
 
Russell Rainey is the Administrative Director of Addiction Services at Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services, where he works with Pine Grove’s chemical addiction treatment programs including Next Step for men, the Women’s Center, which also treats co-occurring eating disorders, and the Legacy program for men and women ages forty plus. Rainey completed his Bachelor's degree in Religion, Biblical Studies and Language before earning his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Rainey holds a license in Professional Counseling and has nearly 15 years of experience in the addiction treatment field. Prior to his current role, Russell served in various capacities at Pine Grove including Director of the Legacy program as well as Clinical Director of Pine Grove’s Next Step treatment program for men. Rainey is nationally recognized for his lectures on spirituality and addiction treatment.
Gregory B. Caudill, MD
Medical Director of the Townsend Addiction Treatment Centers
 
Dr. Caudill is board certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and National Board of Medical Examiners. He attended Medical School at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston South Carolina. He then completed a residency in Psychiatry at Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston-Salem North Carolina and a subsequent Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry through the nationally known Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs at MUSC.
 
Dr. Caudill is Secretary for the Louisiana Society of Addiction Medicine.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Any Length Recovery Community.  He has served on the Local Action Committee for International Doctors in Alcoholics Anonymous and as a Mentor in the American Society of Addiction Medicine.  He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.   He has recently been asked to serve as a Consultant for the 2018 Opioid State Targeted Response Technical Assistance program coordinated by the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in response to the Nation’s opioid overdose epidemic.
 
Dr. Caudill has worked in the field of Addiction treatment for more than 10 years.  He is currently Medical Director of the Townsend Addiction Treatment Centers in the greater New Orleans area.  His recent area of focus has been in integrating basic science into the biological model of the Disease of Addiction and promoting a wider incorporation of the Neurobiology of Addiction into Addiction Prevention and Treatment.
Dr. James Alfred Chiverton
Attending Physician at River Oaks Hospital
 
Dr.  James Alfred Chiverton has an extensive background in Clinical Medicine and Medical Research.  After graduating medical school at the Quillen College of Medicine in TN in 1994, he moved to New Orleans for his residency in Urologic Surgery.  With a special interest in age-related dysfunctions and diseases, he founded Evolution Preventative Healthcare and has served as Medical Director for several area medical clinics.   while also providing oversight and direction for his own clinical research practice.
 
For the last 2 years, Dr. Chiverton has expanded his interest in Addiction Medicine and has been working with Addiction Recovery Resources where he was the Medical Director of the Intensive Outpatient Program in Metairie.  He currently is an Attending Physician at River Oaks Hospital where he oversees a 27-bed detox unit dedicated to the care of patients with dual diagnoses.   
 
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chiverton is an Owner and Director of Southern Clinical Research, an active clinical research practice dedicated to phase II-IV trials.
