Christopher Michael Stewart, M.D., CGP, DFAPA

Chris Stewart, M.D., is an addiction psychiatrist with extensive experience in a variety of addiction treatment settings. 
 
Originally from Russell, Kentucky, he moved to Louisville in 1993 to attend the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he remained after graduation and his residency in psychiatry to work full-time in the UofL Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences for 11 years. 
 
Four years ago, Dr. Stewart moved to Chicago to pursue additional experience in private practice as a group psychotherapist. He returned to the UofL School of Medicine in 2018, and was reappointed associate professor of psychiatry. Dr. Stewart is the medical director of the UofL Physicians Outpatient Clinical Psychiatry Program and is director of the UofL Addiction Psychiatry Residency Training Program. 
 
Along with his teaching and clinical duties, he has participated in research exploring the relationship between addiction, psychological trauma, and neuroelectrophysiology of the brain. Dr. Stewart is board certified in general psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, addiction medicine, and consultation-liason psychiatry, and is an internationally certified group psychotherapist.

Assistant Executive Director of NKY Med Clinic (Pinnacle Treatment Centers)
 
Terry Works for Pinnacle Treatment Centers as the Assistant Executive Director of NKY Med Clinic and is also the Interim Program Administrator of Dayton Treatment Services. He started as a counselor just over 2 years ago, and was quickly promoted to help oversee and implement clinical growth and development within the facility.
 
Terry has worked in some social service aspect for over 20 years.  He has been in substance abuse specific vocations since 2001.  Terry has worked as a Drug Court Case Specialist, therapist (inpatient, IOP, and outpatient), and Program Director in his career.  Terry is a certified Global Assessment of Individual Needs (GAIN) Clinician, certified GAIN local trainer/ site supervisor, has completed Motivational Interviewing (MI) core, booster, advanced, and supervisory trainings and has received the Training of Trainers for MI.  Terry is currently Pursuing Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA, A-CRA) clinician certification and local trainer/site supervisor Certification.  In his spare time, Terry loves to perform stand-up comedy, costumed character work, and Murder Mystery Company Dinner Shows.
Dr. Sarah Johnson

Dr. Sarah Johnson completed her undergraduate, medical and masters degree in clinical investigative sciences and epidemiology at the University of Louisville. She went on to complete a residency in adult psychiatry, and fellowship in addiction psychiatry. After graduation, Dr. Johnson was on faculty full time for three year, and remains on volunteer teaching faculty. She currently serves as medical director of Landmark Recovery in Louisville and treats patients In her private practice when she isn’t enjoying life as a new mom of her 8 month old.
