Lyle Fried is a board-certified addictions professional, an internationally certified alcohol and drug counselor, a certified recovery residence administrator, an approved training provider for the Florida Certification Board, and a certified health coach with Villanova College of Nursing. Fried has served as the executive director and program manager of residential and outpatient facilities. He was vice president of a six-county homeless coalition and a founding member of the Mental Health Action Team in Miami-Dade County. He has served as a drug court panel member and as a primary therapist in high-end and state-funded facilities. Currently Fried is conducting research with Kenneth Blum on dopamine homeostasis, bringing functional balance to the dopamine reward pathway for “reward deficiency syndrome,” the neuroscience of neurotransmitter supports for mood stabilization and relapse prevention. Their research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

Tony Hoffman is a former BMX Elite Pro and placed second at the 2016 World Championships. Hoffman also has been sober since May 17, 2007. His BMX career started in high school, as he was a top-ranked BMX amateur with multiple endorsements. He also started drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana and using prescription painkillers. In 2007, he was sent to prison for two years, but in time began rebuilding his life’s purpose. After paroling prison in late 2008, Hoffman started living out his dream with his addiction behind him. As soon as he was released, he used the experience to inspire others to live their life with purpose. Hoffman has dedicated his life to awareness projects around the country, while advocating a shift in thinking towards recovery.

Scott Kiloby is an author and international speaker on mindfulness and addiction recovery. Scott is also the founder and director of the Kiloby Center for Recovery. After twenty years of addiction to drugs and alcohol, Scott began to develop Natural Rest for Addiction which has helped people all over the world confront the root of their addiction, anxiety and depression.

Originally from southern Indiana, Scott was an attorney for several years before becoming an author. He travels extensively across the United States and in Europe giving talks, seminars and intensives. Scott is married and lives in the Palm Springs area where the Kiloby Center is located.

Along with his work at the Kiloby Center, Scott is also the director and co-owner of the Natural Rest House, a detox and residential addiction treatment center located in La Quinta, California.
