C. Scott Dehorty is a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) and therapist who brings over 20 years of experience in the field to his role as Executive Director at Maryland House Detox, a part of Delphi Behavioral Health. Specializing in substance abuse, mental health, and chronic pain management, Scott utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral approach and draws largely from Mindfulness based practices when treating patients in all stages of recovery. Scott received his Master’s degree in Social Work (with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling) from the University of Maryland, and his Bachelor’s degree in Human Services & Psychology from Elon College in North Carolina.   Before joining Maryland House Detox, Scott spent the past two decades working in various roles within the field, serving as a Psychotherapist in his own Private Practice, a Pain Recovery Program Manager, Psychiatric Social Worker within a Pain Treatment Program, a Clinical Director, a Crisis/Admissions Counselor, and more. Scott has also played an active role within the mental health and addiction community, servicing as a presenter for various conferences including The Johns Hopkins Hospital Psychiatry Grand Rounds, Senate Employee Assistance Program, Delaware Professional Counselors Association, Addiction Professional Summit, Harford County Trauma Institute, among others. Stacey MaGee
Clinical Specialist, Retreat Premier Addiction Centers

 

Stacey MaGee is a native of Bossier City, Louisiana. He has lived in Reading, PA for 5 years. Stacey became involved in the addiction field after his own recovery from addiction 28 years ago.   He initially began his career certified in addiction by the state of California and worked in various treatment centers.   Currently, Stacey is a License Addiction Counselor (LAC) through the Addiction Disorder Regulatory Authority (ADRA) and has a Masters in Guidance and Counseling (MA) from Louisiana Tech University.   He is currently employed with Retreat Premier Addiction Centers employed in Ephrata, Pennsylvania as a Clinical Specialist.   Also, he a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) and is currently the North American Missions Sectional Representative in the state of Pennsylvania. He currently pastors a church in Reading, Pennsylvania.   Stacey has been involved in speaking at workshops, marriage retreats, providing private faith-based counseling, as well as marriage and couples counseling. He has specialized in working with trauma, domestic violence, addiction and the mental health throughout his career.  Stacey has experience as a therapist/counselor, clinical supervisor at inpatient treatment facilities, outpatient treatment and private practice. His varied life experiences, recovery in addiction, and 28 years of sobriety enables him to possess the compassion and skills necessary for success in the addiction field and serving the community at large.

Dr. Linder is a tenured Professor of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Louisville. He is a Director of Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology and the Director of the Prescient Medicine-Jefferson pharmacogenetic diagnostics laboratory. Dr. Linder has been actively involved in pharmacogenetics research and translation of that research into clinical services. Dr. Linder has served as PI on numerous grants and contracts and has an extensive publication record. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (NACB) and has served on a number of committees for the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC), the International Association for Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT), and the International Federation for Clinical Chemistry (IFCC). Dr. Linder is also an active member of the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC). His scientific interests include plasma cell-free nucleic acid biomarkers and clinical applications of pharmacogenetics. Dr. Linder is a thought leader in the field of pharmacogenetics, having developed several pharmacogenetic tests now being used by Prescient Medicine-Jefferson and holds a patent on a companion informatic software application for pharmacogenetics.

Heidi A. Taylor, LPC
Manager of Outpatient Services at Mount Regis Center

 

Heidi Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor with thirty years of clinical experience in a broad range of substance abuse and mental health settings.  She is the Manager of Outpatient Services at Mount Regis Center in Salem, Virginia and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from West Virginia University.  Ms. Taylor is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing and has worked extensively with trauma survivors in outpatient treatment. Currently, she is working with Mount Regis Center to expand outpatient services and to provide ongoing care and support for patients and their families.
