Anthony Mele, a licensed psychologist, brings almost 25 years of clinical expertise and executive leadership on both the provider and payer sides of behavioral healthcare. Mele’s wide range of clinical expertise includes: the assessment and treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders in adolescents and adults, the use of telehealth to manage chronic medical conditions, and the development of non-pharmacologic interventions for individuals with cognitive impairment.

Dr. Bob Hinds is the Corporate Director of Opiate Addiction Treatment Strategy for Bradford Health Services.  He is a 43-year veteran of the addictions treatment field, serving as Executive Director of two free-standing treatment centers for over 30 of those years.  He currently serves as Bradford Health Service’s Corporate Director of Opiate Addiction Treatment Strategy.  He earned his doctorate in business administration in 2005, and also serves as an adjunct professor, teaching health care management in the MBA program at the University of North Alabama. Dr. Cathy Reto
Director, Women's Center - Pine Grove
 
Dr. Cathy Reto is the Director of the Women’s Center at Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, MS. Dr. Reto received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and obtained her A.A. in Nursing at Youngstown State University. She is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and is on their senior advisory board. Dr. Reto has specialized training in EMDR and has been trained in somatic psychology at The Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. Her areas of expertise include psychology of normal eating, eating and weight disorders, body image distortion, compulsive overeating, childhood trauma, and chemical dependency. Additionally, Dr. Reto has expertise in bariatric psychology and bariatric post-operative weight management.
Arwen Podesta, MD

Arwen Podesta, MD is a board certified adult psychiatrist with sub-specializations in addiction medicine, forensic psychiatry, and integrative & holistic medicine. She has a background in biochemistry, complementary medicine and massage therapy. She was excited to successfully merge her intellectual and vocational interests by becoming a medical doctor. She graduated from University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, and then moved to New Orleans for a psychiatry residency at Louisiana State University. She then pursued a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at Tulane University. After Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Podesta was involved with psychiatric care for the most needy and disenfranchised. She was awarded the Gambit’s 40 Under 40 in 2009. She has been actively working in the public sector, as Chief Medical Officer of Odyssey House Louisiana, Medical Director of ACER, and consulting Orleans Criminal Court Intervention (Drug Court), and Municipal Court Diversion Services, She is also chair and co-creator of the New Orleans Forensic Mental Health Coalition. She recently helped create, and is Medical Director of, a new treatment group, Dependency Pain Treatment Center. At all of these venues and programs, her main focus is access to holistic addiction and dependency treatment, and rational prescribing practices. Dr. Podesta continues to teach and pursue academics, is Tulane Clinical Faculty, is on a dissertation committee at UTH Dallas, teaches at the NOPD Academy, and consults with several other organizations and institutions. She is a well renowned speaker, and travels to teach and speak on the subjects of Addiction Medicine and Integrative Psychiatry. After opening Podesta Psychiatry LLC in 2012, Dr. Podesta has been voted into New Orleans Magazine Top Doctors every year. The team at Podesta Psychiatry includes some of the best treatment providers in the Gulf Coast. Podesta Psychiatry has grown toward the multi-disciplinary collaborative model that embodies Dr. Podesta’s wellness model for whole health.
