John C. Stenzel
Chief Executive Officer
A Healing Place The Estates
With nearly 40 years of experience serving in senior management and entrepreneurial roles for physical, occupational, and behavioral healthcare-related organizations globally, John C. Stenzel was well aware that chronic-pain management was in dire need of a major overhaul. Rarely a day goes by without media coverage of some aspect of the heroin and prescription opioid epidemic. John studied the problem from all angles, investigated treatment options leading to the best possible outcomes, and remained hopeful that one day he would help this challenged population transform their lives.
A SHARED VISION: Then, in August 2015, his dream was realized when he re-connected with two accomplished industry professionals who shared his vision. As luck would have it, Dr. Stephen F. Grinstead, developer of the Addiction-Free Pain Management ® System, and Joseph A. Cabaret, MD, who is triple-board certified in Pain Medicine, Addiction Medicine and Anesthesiology, also aspired to build a specialty program for chronic pain management from the ground up. They would focus on time-tested traditional and holistic modalities handled concurrently within a full continuum of care. The rest is history.
NOTEWORTHY: Among other notable achievements, John served as CEO of The Bridge to Recovery, Inc. – a non-profit residential recovery center focused on process addictions and codependency – where he expanded its capacity by 400 percent. He is also Founder and former CEO of Salus Health Group, Inc./Bridge Recovery Homes, Inc., a behavioral-health management company based in Calabasas, California; served as Vice President of Development for Phoenix House California, a holistic drug- and alcohol-addiction treatment center; and is co-founder and former CFO of Glendale, California-based Worldwide EAP, Inc., an international employee and family assistance company.
INCOMPARABLE EXPERTISE: John’s success in and passion for building world-class teams have been realized again in his latest and most ambitious venture to date: A Healing Place – The Estates.
