Throughout her career as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army, Chani Cordero have served in various leadership positions. Cordero has worked in several operational and healthcare delivery roles in medical and executive management including three previous roles as a leader in Information Technology. Chani Cordero has served as Executive Director, a Director of Human Resources and the Director of Managed Care and Payer Operations. She has also served as the career liaison for US Army Medical Service Corps Officers who are dedicated to the IT career field.
Cordero has proven herself as a functional expert in healthcare IT and leadership. Chani Cordero is a Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO) and received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from St. Mary’s University, in addition to holding a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Troy University and along with a Master of Healthcare Administration from Baylor University. Cordero is also Level 3 certified in Acquisition Information Technology.
