As the treatment for hepatitis C virus (HCV) continues to advance at an extremely rapid pace with new developments and a rising number of HCV infections among patients with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) a significant educational need presses for practicing health care professionals who manage the care of these patients. This session will provide, with a detailed understanding, the importance of screening, accurate diagnosis and proper treatment of HCV infection among this epidemically growing SUD population.
