Craig Rush. PhD, has been active in the areas of research, teaching, service and administration. He served as the principal investigator on a number of projects from the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Rush is also the principal investigator on a subcontract from the University of Vermont and is a co-investigator on at least five other National Institutes on Health-funded projects. During 2017, Rush continued his role as director of a T32 awarded to the University of Kentucky entitled. "Research Training in Drug Abuse Behavior." He submitted at least six R01 grant applications to the National Institutes on Health as principal investigator for consideration for funding. Additionally, Rush published four manuscripts during 2017 and has three others in press. He has served on the University of Kentucky Appeals Committee and the University Sexual Misconduct Appeals Committee, and is vice-chair of a Medical Institutional Review Board. In 2017, he became vice-chair for research in psychiatry.
