This session will examine the role that stigma and discrimination has played in response to the cocaine, meth, and opioid epidemic in the United States. The presenter will also examine the personal stories of individuals in long term recovery. Objectives: - Demonstrate increased knowledge about stigma. - Recognize personal struggles in addiction. - Recite new ways of communicating messages.
