Rena Brewer, RN, MA, CEO of Global Partnership for Telehealth, Inc., has 12 years’ experience in building telemedicine networks across the southeast and beyond. Global Partnership for Telehealth, Inc. Partners include rural & urban health systems / hospitals, healthcare providers, skilled nursing facilities, public health departments, school health clinics, correctional facilities, universities plus a variety of medical and behavioral health clinics. GPT’s mission is to leverage telecommunication technologies to improve access to healthcare for all. This mission is achieved by assisting in the establishment of telehealth programs in a variety of settings. Recently, GPT launched Pathways, a new telemedicine web-based video conferencing software that will meet the demand for a high quality, easy to use, affordable telehealth solution.

As GPT has expanded operations; international opportunities with mission organizations have developed resulting in the 2013 formation of GPT Missions. GPT Missions partners with various mission groups to implement telehealth services in orphanages, clinics, and hospitals in Guatemala, Afghanistan, Macedonia, and Honduras.

GPT is the HRSA grantee for the Southeastern TeleHealth Resource Center (SETRC) which is part of the National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers consisting of 14 federally funded regional & national centers providing support & guidance to those wishing to implement telehealth services.
