Let's settle the age-old debate. Where did addiction come from? Nature or nurture? In this presentation, Michael P. Frost M.D., FACP, FASAM and Danielle LaPointe, LPC present both sides. Michael Frost will discuss the brain disease, making a compelling argument that there is a genetic predisposition to addiction and highlighting the differences in brain functioning. Danielle LaPointe will discuss the family dynamics from the onset of a substance use disorder through the recovery stage.
