This interactive and gentle session combines traditional Hatha Yoga and Kripalu Yoga. Participants will be invited to participate at the level in which they are most comfortable. Chairs will be available for those who prefer chair yoga. The session will feature Pranayama (breath energy) with Vinyasana (flow of linked postures) and recovery affirmations to enliven your sense of well-being, confidence and compassion for yourself. This event will begin with a quiet seated practice followed by a flow of postures adapted from the traditional Sun Salutation. Final part of the class will include reclining Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and closed with invitation for sounding of “om” (the sound and vibration of all creation). Please bring two large towels and a hand towel and wear comfortable clothing, including a pair of socks. Yoga mats are not necessary.
