We all know the frustration of working with clients with a laundry list of behaviors that must be addressed. It often feels like we are never able to fully get to the core of what continues to drive these behaviors, and trauma is often a large component. A lack of research for how to best treat these clients can impede the professionals who want to offer the best evidence based care for their clients. This presentation offers a way toward lasting change in the client with addiction and eating disorder. Learn how to identify what type of treatment is most appropriate, the research on how to best approach the co-morbid presentation, and a tool box of interventions to begin treating these clients most effectively.

Learning Objective 3
