Amelia Roeschlein is a psychotherapist that currently works in the UCSD Psychiatry Department. She provides leadership and clinical oversight for county and private programs, as well as supervision to training psychiatrists, psychologists, marriage and family therapists and social workers. She is part-time faculty and doctoral candidate at the USC Graduate School of Social Work. Roeschlein has received intensive training in clinical supervision, dialectical behavior therapy, and advanced mentalization based therapy. She has 15 years of experience with a clinical focus that has included working with personality and attachment issues, mental health and substance abuse issues, sexual compulsivity disorders and oppositional defiance issues.
