Lori Lockhart obtained her master’s degree in special education and has 20 years of experience teaching in the public school systems in Wisconsin and Iowa. She and her husband founded a non-profit organization, Hopeful Journeys, Inc, whose mission is to provide financial support to individuals that have been diagnosed with co-occurring disorders so that they are able to achieve sustained independence and enhance their quality of life. Lockhart is an avid advocate for families in the treatment process of co-occurring disorders.
