Working in the helping profession results in putting the needs of others ahead of our own. The possible impact of vicarious trauma sneaks up without our awareness and takes its toll. Personal histories of trauma and recovery that bring many into the field add to the burden. This session will define vicarious trauma and highlight the critical mandate for balance and boundaries in our lives. Participants will learn a variety of simple techniques that lead to renewed wellness.
