Not every treatment center can help every person struggling with addiction. Whether there’s a lack of bed availability, or an individual requires a specific type of treatment not offered, or the client’s insurance is not accepted, there are certain circumstances that require a referral to a different provider. However, with so many changes constantly happening in the addiction industry, it can be difficult to know exactly who to refer to. With so much misleading information floating around the industry and bad actors offering large sums of money to “put heads in beds,” it’s hard to know who to trust. Attendees of this session will learn marketing techniques to improve their web presence to attract ethical, legal, and clinically-relevant client referrals, as well as tips for identifying treatment centers to work with to send clients. Finally, an assessment of consumer trust will be discussed to demonstrate the efficacy of transparent marketing techniques.
Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
Learn strategies for marketing themselves to other addiction treatment providers to obtain ethical, legal, and clinically-relevant referrals.
Learn how to identify other treatment providers to whom they can refer clients.
Learn how consumer trust and transparent marketing techniques foster a healthier ecosystem for our industry.
