Description
New entrants as well as incumbents in the market increasingly realize the need to embrace a recovery-oriented approach, one that includes a more effective use of technology, data and measurement. Treatment and recovery organizations will be required to demonstrate their value through data, which is captured throughout the entire continuum of care and after the acute episodes of treatment. In this new recovery-oriented and accountable paradigm, client engagement is the elusive but an essential variable. Technology must provide solutions to both capture relevant, recovery focused data and solve for the engagement problem. This session will introduce and describe a recovery-oriented model of care that combines recovery management, recovery coaching and use of an engagement technology platform designed to achieve a robust, recovery-oriented continuum of care that: improves engagement; supports the core processes of recovery management; captures the data required to improve and sustain recovery; and supports the value of the organization’s services via valid outcomes analytics.

Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
  • Describe the core elements of a recovery-oriented model of care.
  • Understand the elements of recovery management.
  • Describe the role for recovery coach/care manager in this new model.
  • Describe the core elements of an engagement technology platform.
