Description

Tracy Collander, LCSW, Linden Oaks at Northwest Community Hospital

This session will discuss compliance; compliance is at the floor level of a high-quality treatment program. Examples will be discussed that provide the audience with an understanding of the key elements that are needed to implement services that are compliant with law, regulation, and accreditation standards and that support excellence in service delivery (on the road to high reliability).

While compliance with law and regulation is an operational requirement, the culture that a leader builds to sustain compliance and deliver high quality treatment will determine an organization’s success. This session will focus on the key elements that not only support compliance but also foster a culture of performance excellence. Leaders who attend will be able to take knowledge and strategies back to their organizations for implementation.

Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
  • Identify the key elements that not only support compliance but a culture of performance excellence
  • Learn about strategies that foster a culture of performance excellence that can be applied to their own settings
  • Recite examples of team innovations that result from a culture of excellence will be illustrated.
