Jesse W. Tucker, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse that has been board certified in Psychiatry, both for pediatric and adult populations. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and finished at the top of his class, receiving the award of Clinical Excellence and the Lois Widely Scholarship for his services in Addiction Nursing. Professionally, he has been in the field of psychiatry in many capacities over the last 12 years. Jesse has experience in all levels of care in the mental health field, working with some of the top health care providers in the country. Most recently and for the last 5 years, Jesse has worked with Right Step, a substance use disorder and mental health treatment facility. He has served in many roles including Regional Director of Nursing, Director of Adolescent Services, Admissions Director and interim Executive Director. Jesse also spearheaded the systemic implementation of Collaborative Problem Solving, an evidence-based therapeutic model at the Right Step and has been instrumental in its use in the community. Jesse has extensive training in this approach and has worked collaboratively with Dr. Stuart Ablon of Think:kids and their affiliates at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Jesse is currently working in a clinical capacity as a Nurse Practitioner, providing psychiatric and medical care while operating a personal outpatient practice for adolescents and adults. Jesse has also been speaking in the public arena for over a decade on many topics such as leadership and behavioral health. His audience has spanned from local health care systems and school districts, to statewide juvenile justice departments and national organizations.
