Patrick Farrell is a Senior Director of Data Analytics at Penn Medicine and he is responsible for Penn Medicine's Data Analytics Center.  A group providing “Data as a Service” to Penn Medicine for data warehousing, data modeling, visualization and analysis. This team is responsible for the creating analytic solutions that utilize Penn Medicine's wide breadth of information including, clinical, financial, marketing, regulatory, staffing, and genomics data both structured and unstructured. A center of excellence for analytics that services all areas of Penn Medicine in order to help it achieve its mission of being a leader in medical research and patient care.  He has Twenty-three years’ experience with building effective, innovative and productive teams and solutions in high growth environments ranging from startup to Fortune 100.  He has a Master’s Degree in Information Science from Penn State and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.



He has held an adjunct faculty appointment at Temple University Graduate School of Health, and has held positions on industry advisory councils for the Penn State Great Valley Engineering Department and the Villanova School of Business Analytics Department.
