Description

People have more autonomy and access than ever before in picking their care providers. This choice is developing as relationships between providers and institutions are starting to change more rapidly and become more complex. For a healthcare system, simply defining who qualifies as a provider can be challenging. Despite internal challenges, creating a method for patients and other potential referring parties to identify the right provider is critical. Providing correct and easily-accessible information about that provider is paramount and expected. This session will explore the type of systems involved in this complex process, and share some of the challenges and successes Jefferson has had in pulling the data together to shield the public from these complexities. This session will include details on the development that was done by Jefferson internally to create our consumer-focused solution, and what is next in out development process.
