Description
Participants in this workshop will be challenged to recognize the intimate qualities of the absence, emergence and living experience of grace in those with process addictions. In an interactive, experiential setting, participants will identify the movement behind a collaborative spiritual process, while also learning the science of addictive disorders. Through the use of movie clips, literature and music, this interactive dialogue will expand beyond the realm of traditional medical, therapeutic and recovery-based skills in the life of the dual-addicted person. Participants will gain deeper knowledge about the emotional and spiritual aspects of medical, therapeutic and spiritual interventions, and learn how to connect with their truth and find a place of hope.

Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
1) Recognize the progression of grace in an addicted person's journey from active disease through recovery.
2) Use tools to unlock a client's own ideas to help remain on the path of recovery.
3) Participate in the appreciation of the spiritual journey of recovery.
