Dr. Robin Lang is the Senior Director for Clinical Informatics and IT at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice and an MBA and has more than 25 years health care experience across many practice settings. She successfully led the efforts of CaroMont’s 2006 conversion from paper to EMR and BCMA and then the enterprise conversion to Epic in 2015-2016..
Dr. Lang serves as an adjunct professor at Gardner-Webb University’s Hunt School of Nursing where she teaches Informatics and Health Policy. She is a member of CHIME, HIMSS and ACHE, is certified in Nursing Informatics through ANCC and is CHIME Certified HealthCare CIO-eligible.
